Savio signs long-term Man City deal

Last season’s Premier League champions Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Brazilian winger Savio from Troyes.

The total damages that Man City have to pay to Troyes are €40 million (£33.6 million), divided into an initial transfer fee of €25 million (£21 million) and another €15 million (£12.6 million) in bonuses and other conditions as agreed. The player has signed a long-term contract until the summer of 2029.
The 20-year-old was sent on loan to Girona last season by Troyes and impressed, scoring nine goals and providing 10 assists in 37 La Liga appearances, playing a key role as Girona finished third and secured a place in the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League.
